At this very moment, I am sitting beside an open window while the rain pelts down. I take in the smell the rain-soaked concrete and watch the patterns the drops leave on the glass, which is angled perfectly to catch them.
Lovely.
Life. Falling from the sky. The grass will be greener and the birds better fed.
Love the imagery. So peaceful…and so very jealous that you had this moment. Though, I’ll admit, one of my favourite parts of this time of year is laying in bed in the morning (wink!) and just listening to the quiet and the noise of the outdoors.
Love this: “Life. Falling from the sky. The grass will be greener and the birds better fed.”
When it rains, the first thing that comes to mind is – Yes! I don’t have to water the plants today.
Yup, that’s me. Always looking out for Number One.
So lovely. There’s that positive thinking and beautiful perspective once again!
You are thinking about the birds and the grass, and last night I was sitting on the bleachers watching my son’s baseball game in the pouring rain, trying to share one umbrella with 2 other family members and getting soaked and thinking Damn you, rain!!
