This cabin is on one of my favourite roads – a tiny little road in rural western Quebec.  It winds as it follows a river up a foothill of the Laurentians.

This apple core was still attached to the tree…

I took this on our walk to the local coffee shop.

The lone, different leaf caught my eye; it has since turned green and I had trouble finding it, though it hadn’t moved.

A metaphor, perhaps?

I’m not sure what this is, but I walk by it (and other like it) on my way to the office from my car.  I think it’s wild.

I took this out of the passenger side of a car at a red light.

I caught this squirrel stealing what look like carrots from a dumpster.  She was a very patient model.  I didn’t realize that she was a nursing mama until I looked at the picture later.
