1. No more Starbucks…unless someone else is paying, I’m going on a road trip, or I’m meeting someone for coffee.
2. Simplify & organize…starting (and perhaps ending) with Pinterest boards and Facebook albums
3. Fold laundry straight out of the dryer…unless there is no empty laundry basket, (see: piles of 2011)
4. Write weekly meal plans. (well, that was easy)
5. Prioritize – kids before cleaning, Facebook before Pinterest.
And, done.
I’m chuckling…how alike we are (except for maybe the meal plans, that I do religiously).
Happy New Year my dear friend. May the coming year be filled with a few Starbucks together.
I almost always scramble for dinner ideas at 4:30. I am actually going to try planning meals. Two days in and my mind is already lighter.
I see plenty of “meeting someone for coffee” in your future. But like the kids before cleaning- my resolution too. (also, I resolve to not join Pinterest because I’ll never stop)
Yay for coffee dates! also, I am not above making new, imaginary friends! And, I think my kids count…no?
Honestly, I love Pinterest. It is actually very useful for craft ideas, recipes, cleaning tips, and clever re-purposing. I’ve all but given Twitter up for it.
You are cute! I love this list! One I could actually stick to!
Always the realist.
Love the facebook before pinterest
I am all about putting people first.
I like these too. I need to figure out this whole meal plan thing too – I have no idea what we’re eating on a daily basis. And sadly, I agree with the Starbucks too – but dammit it’s such a hard habit to break.
